06-22-2021 The Library is now open. Masks and social distancing is required of unvaccinated patrons. Parents are to determine if their unvaccinated minors require a mask. Seating and computers are limited due to social distancing. All returns are to be placed in the outside book return; all library materials continue to be quarantined. Donations of used books, etc. are not being accepted.
03-22-2021 The Library is now open with limited occupancy. Our hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 10 AM – 7 PM, Wednesday 10 AM – 6 pm and Friday & Saturday 10 AM – 4 PM. Please wear your mask and observe social distancing. Before entering the building put all returns in the outside drop box. Returned materials are quarantined for 96 hours before being checked in. Curbside service will continue to be offered. If wanting to use a computer, please call ahead (989 781-3770) about 15 minutes before arriving to check for availability. Used book donations are not being accepted until further notice. Welcome back!
11-23-2020 We will be moving back to curbside service only, on November 23rd until further notice. This difficult decision was made due to the rising number of COVID19 cases. Your curbside requests can be made by calling the Library at 989 781-3770 or by accessing our online catalog at www.thomastownshiplibrary.org. Staff is available to assist you by phone Mon. – Thurs. 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Fri. – Sat, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday hours have been temporarily suspended.

IN RESPONSE TO GOV. WHITMER’S EXECUTIVE ORDER DATED MARCH 16, and under the guidance of the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services health officials are recommending that human interaction be limited whenever possible. As a result THE THOMAS TOWNSHIP LIBRARY IS TEMPORARILY CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.
