11-23-2020  We will be moving back to curbside service  only, on November 23rd until further notice.  This difficult decision was made due to the rising number of COVID19 cases.  Your curbside requests can be made by calling the Library at 989 781-3770 or by accessing our online catalog at www.thomastownshiplibrary.org.  Staff is available to assist you by phone Mon. – Thurs. 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Fri. – Sat, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.  Sunday hours have been temporarily suspended.

3-18-2020  Dear Library Patrons,
IN RESPONSE TO GOV. WHITMER’S EXECUTIVE ORDER DATED MARCH 16, and under the guidance of the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services health officials are recommending that human interaction be limited whenever possible. As a result THE THOMAS TOWNSHIP LIBRARY IS TEMPORARILY CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.

The outside book drop is now open. If you have any checked out items from February 1st or later, please return them. All fines will be waived. Please do not leave any library items outside of the building.

Used book donations are not being accepted at this time and please do not put them in the book return or leave them outside the doors.

The staff is available for phone inquiries regarding curbside service requests and general reference questions.  Requests for curbside materials can also be made from our online catalog at  www.thomastownshiplibrary.org.

Thomas Township residents that are library card holders can access digital databases for ebooks, audio books and magazines from this website. The links to Overdrive-Libby and RbDigital are found on the right side of this page.

We apologize for any inconvenience this closure may cause and appreciate your understanding and support. The health and safety of our patrons and staff is primary concern during this time. We look forward to welcoming everyone back when we reopen.

We will continue to monitor the situation as guidelines change.
